Turn-Key Amenities Provided to Every Veteran
At Rayfield of Light, we understand that veterans transitioning into housing often arrive with very little. To ensure a completely frictionless, dignified move-in experience, we operate as a fully "Turn-Key" housing provider.
When a veteran is placed in a Rayfield of Light property, they do not need to wait for furniture banks or charitable donations. The following amenities and resources are issued to them on Day One, completely free of charge:
The Bedroom & Sleep Setup
Each assigned bed is fully prepared prior to arrival. The resident is permanently issued:
- A set of sheets and pillowcases.
- A comforter and a secondary warm blanket.
- A sleeping pillow.
- A set of bath towels and washcloths.

The Kitchen & Dining Setup
To support independent nutrition and enforce our strict cross-contamination hygiene standards, each resident is issued their own personal cooking and dining set, which includes:
- Designated flatware (fork, knife, spoon).
- Personal drinking cups and dining plates.
- A personal cooking set, including a designated pot and skillet.
- A private, assigned pantry space for dry goods storage.
Household Hygiene & Cleaning Supplies
We maintain a 5-star standard of cleanliness. While our professional cleaners clean common areas every 21 days, we supply the daily essentials:
- Our cleaning staff monthly restocks communal body wash and basic hygiene supplies (though residents are free to purchase their own personal brands).
- All communal areas are fully stocked with shared cleaning tools, including a mop, broom, and vacuum cleaner, available for daily resident use.
The On-Site Digital Hub & Community Resources
We bridge the gap to external support directly from the living room:
- The Digital Hub: A designated common-area workspace equipped with a communal laptop, allowing residents to easily navigate VA portals, update resumes, and search for employment.
- High-Speed Connectivity: Free, high-speed Wi-Fi access (password provided upon move-in).
- The Resource Board: An internally managed, physical bulletin board updated monthly with local bus schedules, crisis hotlines, and essential community phone numbers.
- Nutritional Outreach: Direct access to local free food programs and food pantry schedules.
Two Flexible Placement Tracks
We offer two flexible placement tracks to meet your agency's needs:
Standard Month-to-Month Placement
- Turn-Key Ready: We provide linens, blankets, towels, personal cookware, and individual pantry spaces on Day One.
- All-Inclusive: The $800 bed rate includes all utilities, high-speed Wi-Fi, trash service, and bi-weekly professional deep cleaning. No utility deposits are required.
- Digital Access: Each home features a communal workspace with a laptop to assist with job searches and VA portals.
Emergency "Bridge" Housing
- Immediate Relief: For veterans awaiting permanent vouchers, we offer same-day placements in our "Open-Layout Bridge Suites."
- The 5-Night Base Block: To cover professional sanitation and turnover, Bridge placements require a minimum 5-night block ($325).
